Attention Jersey Canada Youth!

It's time for our annual 2017 Facebook Photo Contest.

Photo Submission Details

Who: Youth ages 9-21 years of age.
What: Your favourite Jersey photo! Photos must include a Jersey in the picture and be taken by someone 9-21 years of age.
When: Send your photos by Wednesday June 7, 2017. Photos will be posted on the Jersey Canada Facebook page on June 9th. Once posted, voting will begin, and will end at noon on June 22, 2017.
How: Email your best photo (as an attachment) to Shawna (shawna@jerseycanada.com). Be sure to include your name, age, and caption for the photo!
Prizes: Winners will be announced on June 23, 2017. The first, second and third entries with the most 'likes' will win prizes!

Photo Tips

1. We recommend that you use a digital camera or newer smartphone to ensure that the photo is "print quality" and can be reproduced in the Canadian Jersey Breeder publication.
2. Always email us the highest quality picture and best resolution that you can as an attachment.
3. Whenever possible, take pictures of tagged Jerseys as this gives us the most flexibility to consider using your photo in other Jersey Canada initiatives!
4. Remember, light is the key to good photos. Avoid dark barn shots where the resolution may likely be poor and the image can get lost.

Voting

- From June 9-22, 2017 visit Jersey Canada's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/jerseycanada.
- 'Like' your favourite Jersey photos in the 2017 Facebook Photo Contest album. Voting is open to all ages!
- Winners will be chosen by the number of 'likes' they receive on their submitted image.

The Fine Print

- Photos previously submitted for the Jersey Canada Facebook Photo Contest are not eligible for the 2017 contest.
